Jennifer & Mark, by Lisa Lefkowitz

Romantic. That's the first word to come to mind when I got a hold of these photos from the amazing Lisa Lefkowitz. Lisa, once again, has done an amazing job capturing the details of a wedding that make it personal. Jennifer and Mark hired the ridiculously talented Rebecca Reategui to put their Durango, Colorado fete together and boy did she deliver a winner; the soft peach and ivory tones lent themselves to all aspects of the wedding, providing a, well, a most romantic, seasonless mood. The stunning florals were designed by one of my favorite florists in the country, Ariella Chezar, known for her vintage, still life looking arrangements and bouquets. Honestly, if I lived on the West Coast, I'd want all three of these ladies involved in my wedding.

Friday

Blog Stalking and Other Adventures

Can you believe it's Friday already?! This week just flew by. We are so thrilled to welcome Kiernan Michael into the family, so I apologize if I skimped a little on posting. There has been a lot of goodness around the web this week, and here are some of my personal faves:

I just have to begin with this cloche hat. It's killing me, folks. Seriously.

Anniversary photo shoot from Brooklyn Bride. The background graffiti makes it.

Breakfast at Tiffany's engagement session. Divine.

Big news guys! Vintage Glam is now Ruffled! Head on over and congratulate Amanda on the new site.

I love Megan & Chris's sweet wedding via 100 Layer Cake.

Vintage! Handmade! Outdoor! Garden florals! Emily from Once Wed features the prettiest weddings, and Ben and Shayda's is no exception.

If I keep on looking at Aran's blog, Cannelle er Vanille, I'll never fit into my dress! Sinful pumpkin and hazelnut doughnuts with clafoutis. Look at your own risk.

Another fabulous handmade wedding via frolic!

Lovely fabric flower escort cards via Elizabeth Anne Designs.

Are you a paperophile like me? Then you'll love Folding Trees.

I sure would love one of these headbands for this bird's nest of mine.

This isn't your grandfather's general store.

Courtney & Scott, by Stephanie Fay

I adore the sweetness of Courtney and Scott's backyard wedding. Stephanie Fay captured the essence of this sleepy little bucolic town in Idaho (from which the bride hails); it is the perfect back drop for this event. From the apple orchard shoot to the incredible yellow dresser which stood in as an outdoor alter, all of the details in this wedding are simply divine.

Dahlias graced the tables and were carried by the bride and her bridesmaids, which provided a cheerful fall palette. The outdoor "room" with the fabulous vintage yellow dresser was built and set up by the bride's brother to give the ceremony a church feeling.

Be sure to check out more photos from Courtney and Scott's wedding in the slideshow. You can also thumb through Stephanie's blog for more great weddings.

Monday

Happy Monday! Etsy Love to Start the Week..

I love the Etsy shop Sunshine and Ravioli; Stephanie Butler, the shop owner, is a talented artisan with a keen eye for vintage designs. I am particularly enchanted with her shop's autumn wedding favor cones ; the faux bois paper is so subtle and lovely for this time of year.

These seashore save the date bookmarks are just darling! Each one is hand cut and stamped.

Sunshine and Ravioli is also a hot spot for gift tags for all holidays and occasions. I think this flatware tag is tres charmant~.

Fall Wedding Inspiration

It's a little premature, but I've been in fall mode for the past week. Soups and stews bubbling on the stove, goodies baking in the oven, warm flannel blankets and fires roaring. Time to settle in with a good book and a mug of cocoa. I could go on with this idyllic scene I have in my head, but you get the picture. It's the inspiration for this vintage, rustic fall collage.

Monday

Rustic Wedding Inspiration

I love casual weddings. People are much more relaxed when they aren't wearing tuxedos and gowns. There is more room to play with decor and mood. And bottom line with me, the bride and groom enjoy are free from the restraints of being bogged down by all of the typical formalities.

This beautiful, natural color palette is soft and cozy. Little splashes of color pop with wallpaper courtesy of mother earth! Lots of wood, grass, leaves and flowers; nature's decor!

Sunshine and Butterflies

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. My inspiration for this palette board is the colors of butterfly wings. I adore the almost woodland, rustic feel to it!
